My little sister @abathegoddess plant died and that’s an occasion we take seriously in my family – I mean look at this jungle behind me. πΏππ±So I offered to sit with her and her feelings about it to see if there was anything we could offer in the sticky parts to help her move through it. And what emerged is something I offered to her and I will also offer it to you. Death is not personal. It is not a failure of some sort on your part. The human or the plant is not leaving you, it is just time for them to go.
In Aba’s case she felt she could have watered it more or been more attentive to it or put it in new soil or something of the sort, but realistically nothing was going to stop it. The death was coming anyway, and that’s the same for humans. So please, I hope that you can forgive yourself if somebody that you love died. It wasn’t about you, it was never about you to begin with.
Thank you so much for giving me a minute of your life to think about the end of it. πππΏβ³
