The Gifts of the Threshold Workshops are designed to do just that!

This carefully curated series of one-off workshops will be led by a skilled Facilitator in the death and dying community, and are designed to help you grow your practical skills and emotional presence in end of life care. Each session will focus on a different aspect of supporting those at the end of life, giving you actionable tools, reflective practices, and new perspectives you can integrate into your end of life care toolbox.

This workshop is for:

  • Caregivers, hospice workers, death doulas, and end of life professionals seeking new skills to enhance your practice
  • People navigating personal loss or supporting loved ones through dying
  • Anyone curious about engaging with death in a meaningful and conscious way

Through this workshop, you’ll:

  • Explore unique topics to broaden your knowledge, perspective, and understanding of death, dying, and the art of living
  • Learn practical tools and approaches to expand your end of life care toolbox with clarity and confidence
  • Deepen your emotional and compassionate presence, building grounded and attuned support for those you care for
  • Reflect on your personal relationship with death to cultivate greater awareness, peace, and intentionality in your own life

Grief to Collective Care: Deathwork in Communities Impacted by Violence with Amiyah King

Rooted Presence: The Practice Beneath the Practice with Dr. Sherri Taylor

Join Dr. Sherri Taylor, Grief Tender, GwG Facilitator and Alum, for a grounding workshop exploring the inner practices that support sustainable, compassionate care. Together, we’ll look at the cost of staying close to grief and loss, learn tools for nervous system attunement, draw from trauma stewardship frameworks, and cultivate skillful permeability—so you can remain present, resourced, and steady in the work of accompaniment.

Who are the Gifts of the Threshold Workshops for?

What will I receive during this workshop?

You’ll receive:

  • A 1-hour live workshop led by a skilled Facilitator, with guidance from the Going with Grace team, on an end of life care topic within their area of practice
  • Practical resources to deepen your learning and application
  • A replay of the session, so you can revisit the teachings whenever you need

Is a scholarship or financial assistance available?

We have a limited amount of financial assistance available for our workshops. Please reach out to support@goingwithgrace.com if you are interested in receiving more information.

What is the refund policy?

A full refund will be available to you within 14 days of your purchase. If you purchase the workshop within 14 days of the event date, a refund will not be available, but you may transfer your enrollment to someone else for no additional charge.

What is the deferment policy?

Due to the live nature of our workshops and the intentionally limited enrollment to ensure a highly personalized experience, we are unable to offer deferments to future sessions if the request is made within 21 days of the event date and/or enrollment has closed. No deferments are available if a future session is not scheduled at the time of request. If deferment is unavailable, you may transfer your enrollment to someone else for no additional charge.
