What was the last good day you had? Would that have been a good day to die? When death comes, it happens for most of us in an ordinary day and an ordinary moment–the sun rising and setting, children growing, and silliness happening in politics. For those of us who are living and not caring for someone who is ill or dying, our days are mostly ordinary days. Yet for about 250,000 people and those that love them, what we consider ordinary days, even good days, are the most extraordinary of their lives. Perhaps even the worst. What is a good day to die?

As always, thank you for giving me a minute of your life to think about the end of it!!
